A Taste of Rome

A Taste of Rome

To no surprise, the travel to Rome and Riccione (a small beach town where our training camp is being held) was not very fun, but being here is well worth the sacrifice of an eight hour flight, a six hour bus ride through Italy's countryside and a six hour time change. The food is great with breads, cheeses, spices and of course gelato that sends even the fullest of stomachs back for more! In addition to the delicious foods, there are endless opportunities to catch up on the latest fashion trends with small boutiques everywhere you look. So far, this is definitely one of the better national team trips, besides Beijing, that I have been a member of. To make it the best, however, all we need to do is top it off with some serious fun and fast swimming. Only a little over a week until the races begin! I can't wait!
