Fun Stuff

Josh was a standout multi-sport athlete in high school, competing in football, track and golf in addition to swimming. He even holds school records in track (110m hurdles and 300m dash) and football (most pass receptions in a season), while also capturing a state title in swimming.

He didn't even get serious about swimming until he got to college. At his first practice for the University of Cincinnati, he showed up to the pool in board shorts!

A naturally gifted athlete, Josh made steady improvements in the pool each year, culminating with an NCAA Championship in the 50 Free at the 2010 National Championships in Columbus, Ohio. He has not yet even reached his potential, and will be one to watch leading up to the 2012 London Summer Olympics.
