Background in Swimming: I started swimming because my older sister was on the swim team and I wanted to do everything that she did.  My sister and my very first coaches definitely motivated me to keep swimming, and I really liked the team aspect of the sport.  I have always used my teammates to help me race faster and overcome hard times, and I think having good friends and people to train with is critical to swimming fast.
